TELL US ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY…

The wedding seemed like it was meant to be—everything fell into place perfectly. We found a serendipitous date at the Four Seasons at the Surf Club in Miami, our favourite hotel and restaurant, known for its history and incredible food. It was important to us to create an intimate dinner party atmosphere for our closest friends and family. During our ceremony, my parents, who are no longer with us, were present in spirit throughout every moment. Our chuppah was adorned with pink hydrangeas, my mother's favorite flower, and the custom-made kippot featured bees to honor her memory. My bouquet was wrapped in a blue Hermès pocket square that belonged to my father, a personal tribute to him and his love of Hermès.

Zach and I are living proof that the invisible string theory truly exists. Our lives have been intertwined in ways we never realized until we finally met. From the beginning, we shared the same pediatrician, grew up just miles apart, attended neighboring rival high schools, and even went to the same university. We lived in the same dormitory, only a floor apart, yet never crossed paths until five years after college when we matched on a dating app. From our very first date, we knew we had found something special. We were inseparable, moving in together just three weeks later. Two years after that, we got engaged, and six months later, we decided to get married.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR PARTICULAR GOWN/LOOK?

I chose my wedding gown because it perfectly embodied everything I wanted for my wedding day— elegance, sophistication, and timelessness. My mother-in-law discovered the dress on Instagram soon after I got engaged, and the moment I saw it, I knew it was exactly what I had been looking for. It captured my style effortlessly. I tried on only a few other gowns before flying to Chicago, where the closest bridal salon (Belle Bridal) had the three pieces available to try on. The instant I slipped into the dress, I felt an overwhelming sense of certainty—it was the one. It made me feel confident, beautiful, and special, and I knew it was the perfect choice for my wedding day.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR BRIDES TO BE?

When you prepare for your wedding day, remember that the most important thing is to stay true to what makes you and your partner feel most connected and authentic. Your wedding is a reflection of your unique journey together, so fill it with the people, moments, and details that truly matter to you. On my wedding day, every detail, from my dress to the carefully chosen symbols honoring our families, made me feel incredibly confident, beautiful, and loved. It wasn’t about perfection, but about celebrating the love that brought us together. Enjoy every moment and know that your wedding is just the beginning of a beautiful adventure.
