What is the price range of your gowns?
The prices of our made to order wedding dresses is between $2,475.00 - $6,100.00 with the majority of our dresses being around the $4k mark. We also offer custom wedding gowns, where you can make changes to the made to order collection, whether they be small changes such as raising a neckline or mixing different elements from 2 or more gowns to create your perfect dress - a custom wedding dress would start around $5000.00.
Our Couture service which is completely made to measure service ranges between $6,000.00 - $15,000.00
what is the delivery time frame for made to order gowns?
All of the Prea James Bridal gowns are made at our Australian atelier. Each gown is made to order and requires a 5-month minimum delivery time frame.
We do offer a rush service on our gowns if the fabric is available and there is room in the production schedule to do so. The fees are as follows:
· Anything less then 16 weeks but more then 8 weeks will incur a rush fee of $200.00
· Anything less then 8 weeks will incur a rush fee of $400.00

Can changes be made to the made to order collections?
As all of the gowns are made to order in or Wollongong studio, changes are absolutely possible. These changes range from raising a neckline, to adding (or taking away) sleeves, changing the fabric of a dress to mixing the skirt of one dress with the bodice of another. If you would like to discuss any possibly changes, you are more than welcome to make an appointment at either our Wollongong studio or one of our stockists. Do I need an appointment for your wollongong studio?
Yes you do. Our Wollongong studio is strictly by appointment. This is also our head office and workroom and with such a small team, we always have a lot going on and sometimes this includes fabric trips to Sydney, so it is best to book in advance rather than on the day to avoid disappointment. Of course if you are in the area and would like to come for a fitting, please call us on 02 4288 4021 and we will do our best to fit you in.

Our general size range is AUS 6-18 but we also offer custom sizing for all gowns. All of the sample gowns in our Wollongong studio are a sample size 10. As all of the gowns are made to order we will take your bust, waist and hip measurement and find your nearest size to order your gown to, which includes half sizes as well. We also offer split sizing, so if your bust falls closest to a 10, your waist an 11, and your hip a 13 you can order the gown in that split size. With half sizing and split sizing this will hopefully help reduce the number of alterations needed.
What size range do you offer?
Yes, we offer a Couture service which is a completely made to measure and design service. This would begin with an initial consultation with Prea James where you can discuss the design and fabric options. You would then work closely with Prea James over 5 fittings, starting with a calico toile before moving onto your actual gown. We can offer our signature silk wedding dresses or work with you to design a one off fabric that could be embellished with beading or embroidery.
For Couture gowns it would require a minimum of 12 months to create. If you think you want something similar to one of our existing gowns from the made to order collection, but with some tweaks, we do offer customisations to these gowns, which doesn’t have to be a 12 month minimum.
