Sarah & Ben's Southern France Coastal Wedding

Our wedding was on the coast of Southern France at Hotel Les Roches Brunes.
Before we were engaged we visited the small coastal town where the Hotel is located. My ‘now' husband wanted to try the hotels restaurant so we visited for the day.
After we got engaged, we had spent months looking for a wedding venue but nothing felt right. One day my husband suggested we ask Hotel Les Roches Brunes if they would host our wedding.
We had decided we wanted a venue we could drive to and a location that would be warm for our October wedding. Hotel Les Roches Brunes was the perfect fit! It was on the coast, with beautiful views and had an incredible restaurant.
As the venue was set on a beautiful coastline and we didn’t want to distract from this view. We made sure the floral arrangements and table setting had a really soft and natural feel about it. Throughout the stationary we tied in the venues logo colour a ‘rust orange’ which resembled the rocky coastline.

I always loved the timeless look of a long sleeve wedding dress. The sheerness of the silk meant I could wear a long sleeve in the warmer weather.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE Chloe Wrap?
I came across Prea James Bridal when browsing instagram for some wedding dress inspiration. I was drawn to the simplistic and elegant designs which is very much my style. I’m Australian but currently living in Europe. For my European wedding I really liked the idea of wearing an Australian designer.
WHAT DID YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR Chloe Wrap?
I was looking for a wedding dress that was true to my style. Minimal and sophisticated which is why the ‘Chloe’ top was the perfect layering piece over my silk dress. I always loved the timeless look of a long sleeve wedding dress. The sheerness of the silk meant I could wear a long sleeve in the warmer weather.
WHERE DID YOU PURCHASE YOUR PREA JAMES LOOK?
I purchased my dress from a boutique called Zo & Willow in Berlin.
I was visiting a friend who had organised a wedding dress appointment for me while I was in Berlin. It was my first time trying wedding dresses on and I ended up purchasing the dress then and there.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR BRIDES TO BE?
Plan a wedding that is true to you as a couple. There is so much that goes into planning a wedding and you want your special day to really represent you as a couple.
The night before our wedding we also organised a dinner with our closest friends and family. It was such a nice way to relax and really put us in such a good mood for the day to come.
