What was your wedding venue (ceremony & reception) and why did you choose there?

Dromana Estate Winery

The Mornington Peninsula is our happy place. We fell in love with Dromana Estate’s rustic winery.

Did you have a wedding theme/style? If so, tell me about it please.

We went for a more relaxed vibe, as we really just wanted to have a big party! We chose Australian native flowers, as we believe it looked fitting with the venue we chose.

How did you and your now Husband meet?

Tinder. Yes, Tinder.

What is your proposal story?

On Christmas day 2020, Alex and myself went on a nice morning walk with our dog Boris. We loved our morning coffee and walks together and they were a big highlight during lockdown.

As we were walking alongside the beach where we live, Alex got down on one knee and proposed.

How did you hear about Prea James Bridal?

My bridesmaids surprised me and we went wedding dress shopping when we were on a girls trip in Canberra. I fell in love with Prea James’ dresses and everyone said that I looked so comfortable and happy when I was wearing the gown.

From where did you purchase your gown?

Bluebell Bridal.

What do you love most about the gown?

I love how it was secretly top and skirt. I got to have a second outfit and I changed into Prea James’s white pant.

Are there any special details about your wedding that you would like to share? (A particular reason you chose the venue, or the date, or did you have a special ritual in your day that was important to you?)

I loved how we wrote our own vows. Alex and I don’t like to public speak so we exchanged our vows before the wedding in private. It was very special to us and it’s a memory I will have forever.

Were there any details that you (and friends and family) made yourselves?

Everyone helped out and we made sure we all had everything ready to go.
