What was your wedding venue and why did you choose there?
Ceremony: The Gadsden House, Charleston SC Reception: Upstairs at Midtown, Charleston SC

Did you have a wedding theme/style?
Casual chic, I wanted it to be elegant but for our guests to feel relaxed .

How did you and your now Husband meet? 
We are both from neighboring towns in New Jersey, but we met in Charleston while Chris was in law school.

What is your proposal story?
We were engaged in Paris France.

How did you hear about Prea James Bridal?
My best friend, who was also a bridesmaid found Prea randomly browsing Instagram one day. 

From where did you purchase your gown?
Lovely Bride, Atlanta Georgia.

What do you love most about the gown? 
How different the dress was from most bridal gowns, it felt so ME. 

Are there any special details about your wedding that you would like to share?
We were very particular about the day being US. We wanted our friends and family to be able to see our non traditional yet quirky flair. We had our dogs printed on napkins,  a croquembouche instead of a wedding cake, and sang Celine Dion like it was going out of style. My dog of 10 years ChiChi who is a 15 year old chihuahua was also included in the ceremony which was very special to me because he has been having some health issues as of recently. We had a custom suit made for him from a shop on ETSY (pet glam).

Finally, Do you have any words of wisdom for couples planning their big day? This can be to do with any part of the wedding – eg, planning, budget, or the day itself. 
Keep it all about your LOVE, that is all that matters. Keeping what matters in perspective makes the whole process fun, despite anything that arises (LIKE A PANDEMIC OR HURRICANE) :)
