CERI + MAX'S WESTERN AUSTRALIAN FARM WEDDING
Photography by Apertunity Productions
Wedding Date: Saturday 2nd Feb 2019
What was your wedding venue and why did you choose there?
Old Broad Water Farm, Abbey, Western Australia. Beautiful venue to host both the ceremony and reception. Alternative to a traditional ‘south west’ winery wedding.
Did you have a wedding theme/style?
No theme, looking for simplicity and for our guests to have fun.
How did you and your now Husband meet?
Through family and friends when we were children. We would catch up on school holidays. Then when we were in our early 20’s we crossed paths and the rest is history.
What is your proposal story?
Max took me out for dinner on my birthday. He hadn’t brought me a present, so I figured he wasn’t a very good boyfriend. On returning around home around 9pm from dinner and a few wines. He blindfolded me and walked me down the side of the house. Put some music on, I took my blindfold off and there were tea light candles lit throughout the backyard, some red roses and champagne.
How did you hear about Prea James Bridal?
Instagram – Through the White Door, East Fremantle. Trunk Show, Feb 18.
From where did you purchase your gown?
Through the White Door, East Fremantle
What do you love most about the gown?
The fabric! So many wedding dresses are poorly made and made with horrible fabric. This dress felt beautiful as soon as you put in on, also its elegance and simplicity.
Finally, Do you have any words of wisdom for couples planning their big day?
Keep it simple. Laugh. Talk to you guests. Get on the dance floor and remember it’s just one day in your life, so don’t sweat the small stuff.
